iPhone 3GS Supreme » Coolest Gadgets

Just when you thought that the worldwide economy has started to recover and people would be careful about their spending, along comes the $3.2 million iPhone 3GS Supreme from Goldstriker. Taking 10 months to create, it was commissioned by an “Australian gold mining magnate” – someone who clearly has tons of cash but unfortunately for him, cannot afford any good taste in fashion. The iPhone 3GS Supreme tops all phone prices in the world, coming in a 22K solid gold casing, featturing 136 diamonds that adorn the front bezel. As for its rear logo, it boasts 53 flawless diamonds while the front navigation button holds an extremely rare diamond at 7.1 cts.

WOW!!!

Nokia N97 mini review - SlashGear

We’ve had two QWERTY Nokia smartphones on the SlashGear test-bench this past week, and the surprising thing is how differently the respective user experience is. Our Nokia E72 review went live earlier today; now we turn to the Nokia N97 mini, viewed by many – for better or for worse – as the Finnish company’s second attempt at the N97. Second-time lucky or still well short?

Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 heading to AT&T -- Engadget

Man, the loot you can uncover when you go snooping around spec pages. That most ambitious of Sony Ericsson projects, the XPERIA X10, is still a long way from being released, but already we can narrow down the list of potential US carriers to just one: AT&T. The guys over at Phandroid were the first to spot the newly added UMTS frequency specs for the phone, and the available 800/850/1900/2100 bands fit only AT&T's 3G network.

Apps of the week: Getting the best read on your smartphone | CNN

(CNN) -- The e-reader market is diversifying, and people who want devices to display digital books now have several choices: Amazon's Kindle, Sony's Reader and, as of last week, Barnes & Noble's Nook. BlackBerry 9700 reviewed extra early | engadget

What is it with BlackBerries and seemingly premature reviews? After the Onyx got manhandled ahead of schedule, it's the turn of its close relative, the trackpad-equipped 9700, which has been annointed as successor to the Bold. Boy Genius Report spared few superlatives in their examination of the hardware, which praises the 9700 as "the most gorgeous BlackBerry on the planet" and involves a size and feel comparison against the Tour.

Possible new iNQ Mobile handset gets on FCC | CNET Blogs

"It's time once again for us to reveal our FCC findings to you this week, and this week's standouts are the Sony Ericsson U100a and the Huawei Q1-200H, which bears the iNQ Mobile logo on it. To jog your memory, iNQ Mobile is a cell phone maker that promises to bring smartphone-level technology to non-smartphone devices. So you won't get a full HTML browser or corporate email per say, but you will get full social networking abilities to Facebook and Twitter for example. So far, iNQ has been quiet about a U.S. presence, but perhaps this FCC filing points toward a potential U.S. carrier." ... more info at link
